This Privacy Notice describes how InfiniteFutures, Inc. (“Infinite Futures,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes information about you in connection with providing the Infinite Futures college and career counseling services that we provide directly to consumers (the “Services”) and the Infinite Futures websites (the “Website”). This Privacy Notice applies to information we collect when you access or use the Website and our Services, or when you otherwise interact with us, such as through the MaiaLearning platform. It applies to both students using the Services (“Students”) and their parents or legal guardians (“Parents”). It does not apply to our affiliate MaiaLearning, Inc.’s (“MaiaLearning”) processing of information collected through the MaiaLearning platform. MaiaLearning provides its platform to Infinite Futures and MaiaLearning’s other customers as a processor and processes such information pursuant to its agreement with Infinite Futures and subject to the MaiaLearning Eucational User Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Notice is effective as of the “Last Updated” date above. We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the “LastUpdated” date. Where required by law, we will notify you of changes through the Services or by other means.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information directly from you when you use the Services, including:
- Account Information: we collect names, email addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers from Students and Parents.
- Student Information: we collect basic account information (like Student’s names and email addresses) and information relevant to Students’ college or university applications, including educational information (like school attended, expected graduation year, grades/transcripts), demographic information (like gender, age, race, andethnicity), and extracurricular information (like hobbies and interests).
- Content: we collect information from any content Students submit to Infinite Futures, such as essays or photos.
- Financial Information: we work with third party payment processors to collect payment information from Parents.
- Communication Information: we collect information included in communications with us, including recording video conferences and automated monitoring and storing of chatconversations.
We may also collect anyother information you choose to provide, including through the Services orcommunications with our counselors.
Information We Collect Automatically
We automatically collect the following categories of information:
- Internet Activity Information: wecollect information about how you access our Website, including data about the device and network you use, such as your hardware model, operating system version, mobile network, IP address, unique device identifiers, and browser type. We also collect information about your activity on our Website and interaction with our communications, such as access times, browsing behavior (such as pages viewed and links clicked), and the page you visited before navigating to our Website.

- Marketing and Advertising: we use Parents’ information for marketing and advertising, including to send marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe."
- Research and Development: we use information to monitor and analyze Website trends, usage, and activities, improve our Website and Services and develop new products and services, and generate de-identified data.
- Protection and Compliance: we use information to detect, investigate, and help prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, help protect our rights and property as well as the rights and property of third parties, and comply with our legal and financial obligations.
- Notice/Consent: we may also use information in other circumstances after giving you notice and/or getting your consent.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

- Vendors: we disclose information to vendors,service providers, contractors and consultants that need this information to provide services to us, such as companies that assist us with web hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, and marketing and advertising.
- Parents: Parents will have full access to their Student’s accounts.
- Professional Advisors: we disclose information to our lawyers and other professional advisors where necessary to obtain advice or otherwise protect and manage our business interests.
- Legal Authorities: we may disclose information to legal authorities and others for the purposes described in the Protection and Compliance subsection above, including if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements and if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe that you have violated the law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of us, our users, the public, or others.
- Corporate Transactions: we reserve the right to disclose information in connection with or during negotiations of certain corporate transactions, including the merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.
- Affiliates: we reserve the right to disclose information between and among our current or future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and other companies under common control and ownership.
